Abstract:
The goal of this project is to extend some of the results on the system capacity of peak-constrained SISO and MIMO channels obtained by Sethuraman, Hajek, Durisi, and others by (i) replacing the constraints on the peak transmitted power per antenna with the typical peak constraints on the input signal imposed by UWB regulatory bodies, i.e., a peak constraint across all antennas, and (ii) by considering the effect of spatial correlation across antennas acording to the "Kronecker" correlation model.
