Research Overview
Research Interests
Our current research topics include:
- Information and communication theory: Capacity of wireless communication channels, network information theory, information-theoretic limits of compressed sensing
- Signal processing: Algorithms for mass spectrometry, learning in networks, uncertainty relations and sparse signal recovery, signal processing for communications
- Harmonic analysis: Compressed sensing, frame theory, sampling theory, harmonic analysis over high-dimensional point sets, harmonic analysis of data bases
- Hardware development: VLSI implementation of MIMO detection and decoding algorithms and of compressed sensing recovery algorithms, broadband MIMO cellular system testbed, relaying testbed
Laboratory Facilities
Our lab resources include an RF lab and a DSP lab. The labs are equipped with state-of-the-art
instrumentation hardware, including a MIMO channel sounder, and a MIMO channel emulator.
