Intuition together with theoretical investigations are the sources of innovations. Computer simulations with appropriate tools are the essentials of a cost-efficient highway out of the laboratories.
However, for the final proof of an idea, hardware is needed: Only with a hardware-demonstrator we can deliver the final proof of the value of the idea and with the aid of appropriate measurement tools we gain easily understandable criteria for the quality of an idea and its realization.
The Communication Technology Laboratory maintains two hardware laboratories:
