On the basis of our ongoing research it is frequently possible to come up with an invention in a specified technical area within a relatively short time and at reasonable cost. A target patent project at the Wireless Communication Group starts with a definition of the technical area and with an evaluation of the potential for inventions. After a detailed definition of the subject the potential is reassessed and a final project decision is made. Typical projects last for several month. Final goal is a patent application as defined.
