Independent research results of our group, which have the potential for a patent application, are at first documented in confidential technical reports. A short description of the invention is distributed among the subscribers of our patent partnership program. Later on the description is posted on our invention board for a couple of month. In this period potential partners for a patent application are identified. Depending on the needs of our partner we
supply the technical report as a basis for the patent application compiled by the partner
draft a patent application for the partner and collaborate with a patent attorney to submit the patent application
We offer different subscription schemes to our industry partners. A subscription ensure early access to our inventions (patent partnership program):
patent sponsor: early and confidential access to invention notes
patent associate: early and confidential access to technical reports
patent partner: right of first refusal of inventions in defined reseach area
